This project has been realised with 148 mm western red cedar wood louvers. The westeren red cedar wood is untreated, and will color more greyish over time.
This blind with wooden louvers is 4,3 meters high and 3,3 meters wide. The western red cedar louvers fit perfectly in the country environment of this modern style house. The size of the louver is 148 mm. The louvers are regularly available in lengths up to 4 meters; longer lengths at request and can require longer lead times.
Sunshield uses a high quality western cedar wood. Each louver is controlled in our factory to guarantee that the bending of the louver is limited. Of course it is a natural product, so small fluctuations in dimensions and slight bending have to be accepted. The western red cedar louvers are untreated, and will color greyish over time.
