Quadro Louver Roof, Niek Bouwonderneming, Ermelo, NL

Ermelo

The Gelderland municipality of Ermelo is in the Veluwe region, on the Randmeren lakes. Attractions include the Leuvenumse Bos (Forest), the Oud Groevenbeek estate, and Staverden, the smallest city in the Benelux.

Here, a Quadro louvered roof has been installed in the overhang of a garden shed. Sunshield installed it, commissioned by Niek Construction Company in Harderwijk (NL).

This louver roof owes its name to its robust, cubist look. A Quadro is available in three different variants: lean-to, freestanding, and built in.

A lean-to Quadro slatted roof is placed against a wall on one side, while the other side is supported by legs. A freestanding Quadro even stands entirely on its own.

In this residence, the Quadro louvered roof is built in. Although it appears as if the pergola roof is leaning against the garden house, it is the canopy itself, supported on three sides by columns.

Niek Construction Company integrated a rain gutter around the louvered roof. Rainwater is collected here, directed to the garden house, and then drained away from there.

The Quadro louver roof is finished in RAL 9010. Its 30% gloss gives the pure white a matte appearance, reducing sunlight reflection.

The Quadro's motor is concealed in the short-left side. Users can open, close, or adjust the louver roof blades to their desired position using a remote control.

A closed Quadro louvered roof is rainproof, resistant to high winds, and can even carry a pack of snow. So, any weather is Quadro weather, allowing you to relax in your garden all year round.
