Aluminium Louver 112-E

Close-up SUNSHIELD Horizon Louver Roof with 112-E louver

A 112-E louver system is a non-retractable slatted blind with 112-E louvers. These louvers are made from high-grade extruded aluminium, and have a width 112 mm. The 112-E is specifically developed for the Horizon louver roof. Louver roofs are generally applied with a slope. In fact, water drainage with the 112-E works best with a slope of 8°.

Profile of the 112-E louver

The front, the visible side, of the 112-E louver has a flat shape, offering a good overlap. This is further enhanced because successive slats also interlock. Allowing, in combination with an 8° slope, the installation of splashproof louver roofs. The back of the blade is designed for optimal fixation of the clip that holds it.

The Horizon

Sketch of the Horizon louver roof

With the Horizon louver roof, the 112-E louvers are positioned horizontally, parallel to the higher end of the louver roof. For water regulation purposes, the Horizon prefers a slope of 8°. With a slope of 8°, the louver roof is rainproof. And regulating the incoming sun light is as easy as putting the louvers in the desired position.
