C-system Clips
There are four different types of clips available for the C-system. Three of these types are generally considered as effective when used in a brise soleil application. These are the Type I, Type II, and Type III, described below.
Type I
Type I clips are placed in the bottom track of the rafter, positioning C-100 louvers at an angle of 60 degrees.
Type II
The Type II clip is placed in the top track of the rafter, putting the C-100 slats in at an angle of 135 degrees.
Type III
Type III clips are also placed in the top track, putting the C-100 blades in at an angle of 150 degrees.
The stem of a clip is 100 mm. When the clips are placed against each other, a slat is positioned every 100 mm.
This distance cannot be reduced, but it can be increased. Placing C100 louvers further from each other is a matter of increasing the distance between the clips.
Once the clips are placed, their position is secured with a lock screw, after which the blades are placed.
