Here above you see an example drawing of a T-bracket with an assembled rafter – a rafter with clips.

Concept drawing of C100 T-bracket

A T-bracket is a steel profile (the strip), welded to a steel plate. Together these make the shape of the letter T.

The projection (W) of the brise soleil determines the required width and thickness (D) of the strip.

C100 visualization T-bracket strip

The diagram above shows projections of 600 to 1500 mm. This projection determines the length of the strip (E). With a projection up to 700, the required strip length is 300 mm. And with a projecten of 1500 mm, this length increases to 600 mm.

The additional dimensions (D) of the strip are also included in this diagram. Up to a projection of 900 mm, the strip has width 60 mm, and a thickness of 8 mm.

Is the projection of the brise soleil somewhere between 1000 and 1500 mm, then the strip has a width of 80 mm. The thickness of the strip is always a solid 8 mm.
