C-system Rafters
The rafters presented here below are developed for the C-system. There are three types, the application of the rafter determines which type is available for the project at hand.
Flexible installation
The C-system is suitable for two completely different types of application. First, and foremost, the brise soleil. However, it is also possible to build regular vertical and horizontal blinds with the C-system. The 20 x 30 mm rafter is only available for these traditional blinds, not for use with brise soleils.
Standard Rafter
The standard rafter measures 20 x 30 mm. The height is 20 mm. That is why this rafters is also referred to as the C 20 mm rafter. The standard rafter has two tracks. One track is populated with clips, the other one is available for mounting purposes. The standard rafter is not available for brise soleil applications.
Heavy Duty Rafter
The heavy duty rafter measures 50 x 30 mm. The height is 50 mm. That is why the term C 50 mm rafter is used interchangeably for this type of rack arm. The C50 rafter also has two tracks. One track is for the clips, the other one for mounting. This rafter is available for brise soleils with a projection up to 1.500 mm.
Box Rafter
The box rafter measures 90 x 30 mm. The height is 90 mm. It is also referred to as the C90 mm rafter. The box rafter has two tracks. One track for the clips, the other one is available for mounting purposes. This rafter is available for brise soleils with a projection up to 2.200 mm.
Colours and treatments
Rack arms are made from extruded aluminium, and are usually either powder coated or anodized.
