Control Systems
With louver systems from Sunshield, the first choice is between directionable louvers or fixed louvers. This section focuses on the first category; orientable louvers, operated either manual or motorized.
In case of manual operation there are two options:
- knob – for easy accessible applications
- crank & rod – for system beyond arm length
When motorized, a number of different options are available:
- tubular motor – hard wired and reduction gearbox. A number of reduction gearboxes are available to achieve a required opening/closing time
- tubular motors – solar cell , battery and remote control and reduction gearbox
- Belimo box motor – offers a substantial slower speed and for interior use only
- Elero Picolo – a high capacity plunge motor for extreme large area’s
